Rhino is proud to introduce their new heavy-duty 200 Series
single spindle rotary cutters. Coming on the heels of the
successful launch of the 100 Series, the Rhino 200 Series
promises fantastic results as well.
“Today’s rotary cutter customer expects more. They want greater
durability, nicer styling, a clean cut, and above all, they want
more value for their dollar and that is what the 200 Series
delivers”, says Terry Engelke, Rhino Rotary Cutter Product
Manager.
Three models are available including the 260, 272 and 284
providing cutting widths from 60” up to 84”. To offer an
improved cutter compared to previous models, several upgrades
were made. Cut quality has been improved in two areas. First the
blade tip speeds have been increased significantly on each
model. Secondly, the side skirt depth has been increased to
allow larger volumes of material to enter the cutting chamber
more efficiently. Durability has been improved upon by
increasing the strength in the deck bracing and by making a
heavier-duty 130 HP gearbox standard equipment.

To deliver greater value and extend the service life of the
cutter, the 200 Series deck is domed front to rear and side to
side to help shed water and reduce material build up, plus the
units are painted with a durable powder coat paint. Other
standard features that make the new Rhino 200 Series cutter an
intelligent choice for your next rotary cutter include a 2-1/2”
diameter maximum cut capacity rating, cross-braced pan blade
carriers, excellent lower gearbox output seal protection and
front and rear safety deflectors.
